Help with NoteHunter on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Write to hi@tallpoppystudio.com, or tap Settings (the gear on the home screen) → Contact Us. Say which device and iOS version you use and what you were doing when something went wrong, and you will get a reply from a person, usually within a day or two.
I subscribed, but the app doesn't show it. Open Settings → Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used to subscribe. This also unlocks NoteHunter on your other iPhone, iPad or Mac.
How do I cancel my subscription? Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On iPhone or iPad go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions → NoteHunter. On a Mac, open the App Store, click your name, then Account Settings → Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
How do I get a refund? Refunds are decided by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I have a code. Where do I enter it? In Settings → Redeem a Code on iPhone or iPad. On a Mac, open the App Store, click your name, then Redeem Gift Card or Code.
Does my progress sync between my devices? Not yet. Progress, streaks and statistics are stored on each device. Your subscription works on all of them.
I'm not getting practice reminders. Check that the daily reminder is on in NoteHunter's Settings → Notifications, that notifications for NoteHunter are allowed in your device's Settings → Notifications, and that a Focus mode isn't holding them back.
I don't see the theory tutor or the practice tips. These use Apple Intelligence, so they need a device that supports it, with Apple Intelligence turned on and set to a language it supports. Apple Intelligence is not available in mainland China or in Hungarian. Everything else in the app works without it.
Where should I start: Journey or Free Practice? If you are new to music, start with the Journey. It introduces one skill at a time in the order music teachers use. If you already play, Free Practice lets you pick any mode and level. You can switch between them on the home screen at any time.
Why are some parts locked? The first areas of the Journey and the first theory units are free. The rest of the Journey, the remaining theory units and the full Free Practice settings come with a subscription.
Leaderboards and achievements aren't showing. They use Game Center. Sign in under Settings → Game Center on your device, then open Leaderboards & Achievements in NoteHunter's Settings.
